BMPCC4K + SLR Magic Anamorphic adapter | Marc Cop feat. Alan Smokey (Music Video)ish cam test

Test for Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K with Anamorphic Lens Adaptor.
BMPCC4K is very handy even if with heavy lens adaptor and Ronin-S. We didn't plan to shoot this music video, but just went to drive and car wash. Then it was really beautiful golden hour. I took gear up from a bag and shoot something. It was totally accidental filming but result is amazing. BMPCC is the best choice for one-man filmmaker, or just for fun filming. Only regret is I forgot portable lights..
Also we did reshoot and I brought that lights at that time.

SLR Magic Anamorphot-40 (old type, heavy) that's the Anamorphic Lens Adaptor what I used. It's x1,33 squeeze which means it can take 33% wider width image.
Interesting thing, technically it's not a lens but lens adaptor like a filter. I put it straight on Canon 40mm that has 50mm filter diameter. Also it needs to be calibrate horizontal axis, or incorrect distortion and flares happen if you forget it (ref 0:13).
Another interesting thing, this adaptor doesn't have lens distance markings. There're only Normal and Near focus. Also "lens" needs to be set Infinity, lens means Canon 40mm in this time.
It's a bit tricky lens adaptor but the result is really amazing, blue horizontal flares and anamorphic bokeh, vignetting and edge blur... It's a really fun lens adaptor.
In mostly shots I used Ronin-S with this adaptor setup. It's a pretty heavy load and definitely needs to add weights like 200g on the right side on Ronin-S. But it's doable to balance. I taped an old cell phone and a LP-E6 lol.

I'm introducing another special item. Atmosphere Aerosol Haze/Fog Spray.
This is a spray type of SFX smoke or fog effects instead of a fog machine. It's very handy because it doesn't need any electricity and fluid.
This time I tried it in outside. It works very well and it still has many remains. Also I tried it inside a car, there's no issue like stain or smell.

とまあそれは冗談で音楽も既存のものなんですが、今回はミュージックビデオを模した、ブラックマジックポケットシネマカメラ4Kのアナモルフィックレンズアダプターのテスト撮影をしました。
ポケット4Kはやはりすごいカメラです。こんな重いレンズアダプターとローニンSを付けたとしても取り回しは凄く身軽です。どれくらい身軽かというと、今回この撮影は全く予定していなかったもので、友人と洗車してドライブしに遊びに出た時、夕日がすごく綺麗だったんですね。それでたまたま持っていたカメラバッグから一式取り出し暗くなる前にセットアップをして適当に撮ったのがこの映像です。この機動性はワンマン映画制作者や遊びの撮影には完璧な選択だと思います。一点心残りは突発的だったのでバッテリーライトを忘れたことです。結局追加撮影したのでその時に忘れずに持ってきて使いましたが。

今回使用したアナモルフィックレンズアダプターはSLRマジックのアナモルフォト40というレンズアダプターです。アダプターなので厳密にはレンズではありません。レンズはキャノン40mm、フィルター径が50mmなのでそのまま取り付けることが出来ます。このアナモルフォト40は横方向に33%圧縮されて記録されるため、それをポストで引き伸ばして33%大きい映像を取る事が出来ます。またこのレンズアダプターは水平軸の調整が必要で、それを忘れると間違った歪みやフレアが発生してしまうので注意が必要です。（0:13 参照）
これは少々難しいレンズアダプターですが、アナモルフィックの醍醐味である青い水平フレアや縦長のボケ、周辺減光や周辺ブラーなどが手軽に再現出来、非常に楽しいアイテムです。
ちなみにほとんどのカットでローニンSを使用したのですが、右側に重りをのせる必要があります。この時は古い携帯とキャノンのバッテリーをダクトテープで止めてバランスを取りました。大体200gくらいです。

もう一つ今回使った特別なアイテムを紹介します。アトモスフィア エアロゾルというフォグスプレーです。
これは特殊効果用の煙を出すものですが、一般的にフォグマシーンと呼ばれる機械が使われるのに対して、これはスプレー缶なので取り回しが圧倒的に便利でどんな状況下でも使える画期的な商品です。
今回は屋外で使用しましたが思っていた以上に良い効果を生んでいると思います。さらに車内でも使用しましたが、シミや匂いと言った問題もありませんでした。
